On the sun terrace of the Hochalphütte, you can enjoy regional specialities and a magnificent view. The homemade Kaiserschmarrn is particularly popular.

Lake Kalbelesee is nestled in a colourful autumn landscape, with the Biberkopf towering in the background.

Lake Kalbele is situated right by the Hochtannberg Pass and just a few steps from the Bregenzerwaldstraße. In early summer, blooming alpine roses bathe the surroundings in vibrant shades of pink, lending the lake a very special atmosphere. Anyone who fancies it can take the plunge into the cool water here too.

The rustic Auenfelder Hütte is a popular destination for walkers. The homemade dumplings are particularly recommended.

The Hochalpsee lies peacefully, whilst behind it the sky glows with the bright orange of the sunset.
