The mountain hotel is situated on the shores of the sparkling Körbersee, with the Höferspitze and the Widderstein rising behind it.

Lake Körbersee is one of Austria’s most beautiful mountain lakes. Situated in the heart of a nature conservation area and surrounded by a stunning mountain backdrop, the peaks are reflected in its crystal-clear waters. The tranquil atmosphere makes the lake a special place of tranquillity.

Situated right by the lake, the Berghotel Körbersee is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing break – whether with a cool drink or regional specialities on the sun terrace.

Places to stop for refreshments: Hochalphütte.
On the sun terrace of the Hochalphütte, you can enjoy regional specialities and a magnificent view. The homemade Kaiserschmarrn is particularly popular.

The turquoise-blue Butzensee is picturesquely nestled amongst the surrounding countryside.

Lake Kalbelesee is nestled in a colourful autumn landscape, with the Biberkopf towering in the background.

Kalbelesee.

Lake Kalbele is situated right by the Hochtannberg Pass and just a few steps from the Bregenzerwaldstraße. In early summer, blooming alpine roses bathe the surroundings in vibrant shades of pink, lending the lake a very special atmosphere. Anyone who fancies it can take the plunge into the cool water here too.

A visit to Lake Kalbele can be perfectly combined with a hike to Lake Körber.

Places to stop for refreshments: Auenfelder Hütte.
The rustic Auenfelder Hütte is a popular destination for walkers. The homemade dumplings are particularly recommended.

The Hochalpsee lies peacefully, whilst behind it the sky glows with the bright orange of the sunset.

At just under 2,000 metres above sea level, the Hochalpsee lies hidden amidst the impressive mountain landscape surrounding the Großer Widderstein. Surrounded by alpine meadows and rugged cliffs, it is a wonderful place to take a break in the countryside.

Just a few minutes’ walk away, the Widdersteinhütte invites you to stop for a bite to eat, serving regional specialities, homemade yeast dumplings and hearty soups.
