A family is enjoying some time together in front of a cabin, whilst the parents relax in deckchairs soaking up the sun, the children play in the sandpit and in the beach chair, and green mountain ranges can be seen in the background.

Summer holidays in flight mode.

Family time that isn’t just about posting online. It’s about living it.

The morning begins very quietly. Clouds drift over the peaks; the air smells of fresh grass and crisp mountain air. No ringing, no buzzing, no screen demanding your attention.

Just children’s voices outside the door.

Sometimes it doesn’t take much to spend some real quality time together. Just a slight change of perspective: the smartphone stays in the rucksack, whilst a vast world of adventure awaits outside – with crystal-clear lakes, exciting trails, wild streams and mountains full of possibilities.

No batteries are charged here.
Memories are made here.

A girl wearing a helmet and a climbing harness is completing an obstacle course by shimmying from rope to rope over a small stream.

Climbing instead of clicking.

At Schröcken Adventure Park, the forest becomes a natural adventure playground. Amidst the tall trees, rope bridges, platforms and a variety of obstacles are waiting to be discovered. Adventurers of all ages push themselves to new heights – with every step, every grip and every challenge they overcome.

The special highlight: the Flying Fox Park Safari in Schröcken.

A click of the carabiner. A quick glance down. A bit of a thrill – and off you go, gliding through the forest. An exhilarating experience that will be the talk of the town for a long time to come.
A girl wearing a helmet and a climbing harness is pulling herself up a rock face and looking up with a smile, whilst a guide can be seen out of focus in the background.

A rock instead of a remote control.

In children’s climbing, the mountain becomes a playground and the rock a real partner. Accompanied by experienced guides and fully secured, young climbing enthusiasts venture upwards step by step.

A handhold, a foothold, another metre higher – and suddenly you’re right at the top.

With sparkling eyes, a proud smile and that special feeling:

"I've done it!"

Because sometimes courage grows precisely when you test your own limits.

A father is taking a selfie with his two children; they are all smiling at the camera, whilst in the background you can see a mountain lake, a range of mountains and the glow of a sunset.

A moment in the mountains instead of screen time.

You discover more when you’re out and about together. On the guided walks around Warth and Schröcken, experienced guides take families to special spots, tell fascinating stories about nature and show them where marmots whistle or where the most beautiful view of the sunset awaits.

Along the way, sandwiches are enhanced with freshly picked herbs, turning a simple walk into a genuine mountain adventure.

Suddenly, children become little explorers – and an evening in the mountains becomes a memory to last a lifetime.

A hiking pass instead of a Wi-Fi password.

The Murmele Hiking Pass is a special companion for little mountain enthusiasts.

On various family hikes, children gain exciting insights, discover alpine nature through play and collect stamps for their personal adventure collection. Each entry tells its own story – and at the end, there’s not only a little reward waiting, but above all the memory of many shared experiences.

Pssst … if you’d like to get to know Murmele even better, you should definitely pop along to the Murmele Adventure Trail.
A canyoning group comprising a guide, two adults and four children is standing in a deeper part of a mountain lake; they are all wearing wetsuits and helmets.

Canyoning instead of being a controller.

When the mountain stream becomes an adventure playground, a very special family experience begins. Family canyoning involves making your way together through natural gorges, over rocks and through refreshing water.

Jumping, sliding, climbing and laughing – all your senses are engaged here.

The water splashes, your heart races and, somewhere between the rocks and the stream, that special feeling takes hold:

"I want to do it again straight away!"

Three children out geocaching are looking intently at a geocache, whilst one of them is holding the contents in their hand and trying to solve it.

A treasure hunt instead of a TV series binge.

In geocaching, the mountainous landscape becomes a giant treasure map. Armed with GPS coordinates, you set off on an exciting treasure hunt: discovering clues, solving puzzles and finding hidden treasures.

And when you actually find the cache at the end, the joy is immense – almost as if you’d discovered a real treasure.

And who knows… maybe that’s exactly what it is.
A girl runs joyfully through the tall grass towards the camera, whilst other children can be seen in the background.
Two parents and two children are sitting by a campfire at a barbecue area, holding sausages on sticks over the fire.

A campfire instead of a delivery service.

Evening falls quietly. The mountains are slowly turning golden, whilst the fire crackles at one of the barbecue areas.

Sausages sizzle over the flames. Children talk about their bravest dive into the water, the fastest zip line or the most exciting treasure in the woods.

The stories get a little bigger with every retelling – and so does the laughter.

Summer holidays in flight mode – yet still so close to the ground.

Summer holidays in Warth-Schröcken feel like putting life on ‘airplane mode’.

Everything slows down.
Everything feels more real.
Everything becomes a little bit more ‘us’.

Whether swimming in the clear mountain lake, rowing across the water or marvelling at the landscape together, moments are created that need no storage space.

Because the most beautiful memories stay with you – all by themselves.
